SPECIFICATIONS

In all yarn winding applications, tension at the traverse extremes pulls yarn towards the cone centre. So, we have to provide suitable surface finish to the cones like Embossing, Velvet Finishing, etc. Depending upon application, the paper cone size varies. The popular sizes in the present Textile Industries are 9 Deg 15′, 5 Deg 57′, 4 Deg 20′, 3 Deg 30′, etc.

Generally,
Embossing is employed to enhance the texture of robust and vibrant yarns. This textured finish offers added durability against yarn slippage. Conversely, a delicate embossing texture is applied to moderate-count yarns and threads susceptible to restriction by the aforementioned pronounced embossed surface.
This surface ensures the retention of winding at its full length while allowing seamless delivery to knitting or sewing machines.
Velvet Finish surface is optimal for delicate cotton yarns and safeguards the integrity of synthetic fiber filaments, preventing any potential damage. Yarn effortlessly feeds off without any risk of sloughing, hanging, or breakage. The provision of a velvet surface can be tailored to specific requirements as needed.
